Privacy Notice

Pictureworks International Holding Limited and any of its subsidiaries, related and/or affiliated companies (together and/or individually referred to as “Pictureworks”, “us” or “we” or “our”) committed to safeguarding and protecting the personal data of our customers, vendor,  suppliers, service provider, visitors, and contractors (collectively, “data subject”, “you” or “your”) that have been provided to us.

This Privacy Notice is established to provide a better understanding of our policies and procedures regarding the collection and processing (as defined in the Personal Data Protection Act 2012) of your personal data which you have provided to us and/or we possess about you. We use reasonable efforts in accordance with industry best practices to ensure and maintain confidentiality of your personal data and are restricted from using your personal data for any unauthorised purpose.


1.1 “Personal Data” means any personal information which you have disclosed to us as defined under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 which can be used to identify you or from which you are identifiable. This includes but is not limited to your name, nationality, telephone number, bank and credit card details, personal interests, email address, your image, government-issued identification numbers, biometric data, race, date of birth, marital status, religion, health information, employment information and financial information. Personal Data is provided on a voluntary basis. However, if such Personal data is not provided, we may not be able to communicate with you or render any services as contracted.

1.2 Here are some of the types of Personal Data that we may collect:

(a) personal identification information for example: name, gender, photo, age, date of birth, nationality, facial features, passport/identification card including the number, religious beliefs, racial or ethnic origin, biometric data;

(b) contact information for example: residential address, email address and phone numbers;

(c) transaction information for example: information relating to your purchase of products or services made on the website or mobile application;

(d) payment information for example: credit or debit card information, including the name of cardholder, card number, card issuing bank, card issuing country, card expiry date and banking account details; and

(e) device information for example: IP address, hardware model and serial number.

1.3 Sensitive Personal Data

Some of the personal data that we collect may be sensitive in nature (for instance, your race, religious belief, background information including financial and criminal records, health data, disability, marital status and biometric data). We collect sensitive personal data only with your consent and/or in strict compliance with applicable laws. In the event that you are required to furnish any documentation or information to us for any purpose which may contain such sensitive personal data (which is not required for that purpose), you agree to redact such sensitive personal data before provision of such documentation or information to us.


2.1 We may use and process the Personal Data for the purposes connected with providing services as requested by you or for business activities which shall include, but not limited to:

(a) process your requested services;

(b) process upon payment transactions, delivery of notice, forms, letters and other documents necessarily required;

(c) verify your identity;

(d) monitoring, managing and administrating customers account in regard to collections, credit assessments, and debt management;

(e) communications with you and delivery information by any communication methods including, but not limited to e-mail, telephone calls, facsimile, short message services, social media and other services;

(f) communications with service providers and business associates;

(g) perform internal operations necessary to provide our services, including troubleshooting software bugs and operational problems, conducting data analysis, testing and research, monitoring and analysing usage and activity trends;

(h) we may also contact you via email or phone call regarding our services in order for us to respond to any of your enquiries. You may provide us your information by completing a form, or by corresponding with us by phone, email, live chat or such other means that are available. This includes information that you provide when you register to use our site, participate in social media functions, enter a competition, promotion or survey, including when you report of problem via our website or mobile application;

(i) prevention, hindrance, reporting of any criminal activities including but not limited to fraud, bribery and/or money laundering;

(j) utilizing of personal data for any future marking or promotional purpose;  and

(k) any other purposes as and may be required under the relevant law and legislation

And you agree and grant consent to us to use and process your Personal Data in the manner as stated within this Privacy Notice.


3.1 We may disclose your Personal Data to:

(a) other subsidiaries, related and/or affiliated companies;

(b) information technology or data entry service providers;

(c) business partners;

(d) financial institutions and insurance service providers;

(e) business professional advisors and external auditors; and

(f) payment network operators and credit card verification providers, governmental agencies, regulatory authorities, if and when required

3.2 You may receive marketing communication from us or from the abovementioned entity about products and services that may be of interest to you. If you no longer wish to receive these marketing communications, please notify us to withdraw your consent and we will stop processing and sharing your Personal Data with these other entity for the purpose of sending you marketing communication.

3.3 You may withdraw your consent to receive marketing or promotional materials/communications by contact us using the contact details provided herein. Please be aware that once we have received confirmation that you wish to withdraw your consent for marketing or promotional materials/communication, it may take up to fourteen (14) working days to reflect your withdrawal in our system. Therefore during this period of time you may still receive marketing or promotional materials, we may still contact you for other purposes in relation to the accounts, facilities or services.

3.4 We will not disclose your Personal Data to unaffiliated third parties without your consent unless such Personal Data is required by law or in good faith and such action is necessary to comply with any law enforcement agency requirements, court orders or legal processes. If we disclose any of your Personal Data to our authorised agents or service providers, we will require them to appropriately safeguard the Personal Data provided to them.


4.1 We use "cookies" (small files placed on your hard drive) on certain of our pages in our website to help analyse our web page flow, customise our services, content and advertising, measure promotional effectiveness, and promote trust and safety. 

4.2 A few important things you should know about cookies are:

(a) we offer certain features that are available only through the use of cookies;

(b) we use cookies to help identify you and maintain your signed-in status;

(c) most cookies are "session cookies," meaning that they are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of a session;

(d) you are always free to decline our cookies if your browser permits, although doing so may affect your experience when utilising the features and functionality of Presto Site; and

(e) you may encounter cookies from third parties on certain pages that we do not control (For example, if you view a web page created by another user, there may be a cookie placed by that web page).


We retain your Personal Data for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law. Once your Personal Data is no longer necessary for the purposes, or we no longer have a legal or business purpose for retaining your Personal Data, we take steps to erase, destroy, anonymise or prevent access or use of such Personal Data for any purpose other than compliance with this Privacy Notice, or for purposes of safety, security, fraud prevention and detection, in accordance with the requirements of applicable laws.


Your information is stored on our servers located in Singapore. We treat data as an asset that must be protected using tools (encryption, passwords, physical security, etc.) to protect your personal information against unauthorised access and disclosure. However, as you probably know, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, and other users may abuse or misuse your personal information that they collect from our website. Therefore, although we work very hard to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information or private communications will always remain private.


7.1 By submitting personal data to us, you acknowledge that:

(a) you have read and understood this Privacy Notice and agree and consent to use and processing of your Personal Data; and

(b) all information and representation provided are true and correct to the best of your knowledge, and you have not knowingly omitted any relevant information which may have an adverse effect.

7.2 Personal Data supplied by you shall be accurate, complete and not misleading. It shall be your obligation to notify us of any changes to your Personal Data supplied previously to us.

7.3 Unless otherwise specified in this Privacy Notice, your supply of Personal Data is voluntary and failure to provide such information may:

(a) result in us preventing your entry to our premises or participating in our events;

(b) result in us being unable to process your application and/or provide you with our services;

(c) result in us being unable to respond to your requests on our products / services;

(d) limit or prevent access to certain features on our websites;

(e) result in us being unable to inform you on latest updates regarding any promotions, our services / products or launches;

(f) result in your inability to receive invitation to promotional activities organised by us;

(g) negatively affect our ability to communicate with you;

(h) result in our inability to enter into a contract with you; or

(i) negatively impact your chances of being selected for any potential employment, engagement or internship.

7.4 Personal Data of Minors

We cannot distinguish the age of visitors to our website or mobile application. As a parent or legal guardian, please do not allow minors (below 18 years old) under your care to submit Personal Data to us. In the event that such Personal Data of a minor is disclosed to us, you hereby consent to the processing of the minor’s Personal Data and accept and agree be bound by this Privacy Notice and take responsibility for his or her actions. If your minor has provided us his/her Personal Data without your knowledge and consent, you may request that we remove such information by contacting us.


8.1 You shall have the following rights in respect of the Personal Data which you have provided us voluntarily:

(a) the right to request for a copy of your Personal Data;

(b) the right to correct or update your Personal data to ensure its accuracy and completeness;

(c) the right to withdraw your consent form our processing of your Personal Data;

(d) the right to restrict how we use your Personal Data.

8.2 In respect of your right to access your Personal Data, we endeavour to provide you with an adequate means of accessing it. We reserve the right to impose a fee for fulfilling your request for access of your Personal Data in the amounts as permitted by the applicable law.

8.3 There may be instances where we cannot grant you access to the Personal Data we hold. For example, we may need to refuse access if granting access would interfere with the privacy of others or if it would result in a breach of confidentiality or law. In that event, we will provide you written reasons for any refusal.



This Privacy Notice shall be governed by and construed in all respect in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any controversy, claim or dispute arising out of or relating to this Privacy Notice and/or the breach, termination or invalidity thereof shall be referred to and resolved by a court of competent jurisdiction in Singapore. On this note, you hereby agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Singapore.


We reserve the right to amend, modify, vary or update this Privacy Notice, at our sole discretion from time to time, as and when the need arises, without prior notice to you. The most recently published Privacy Notice shall prevail over any of its previous versions. You are encouraged to check this Privacy Notice from time to time to stay informed of any changes. You agree to adhere to the terms of the Privacy Notice including any variations.
